I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and treat adults with a variety of mental health problems. My treatment philosophy is rooted heavily in the Mental Health Recovery movement. What is this? Mental health recovery is a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live a self-directed life, and strive to reach their full potential. There are several key concepts in mental health recovery that form the basis for my practice: Instilling hope, treating the “whole person,” identifying and building on an individual’s strengths, and individualizing treatment based on a person’s unique needs and culture.
